Hydraulic Crimping Tools are used to join 2 or more pieces of metal by deforming them and joining them permanently under great pressure. These tools can be operated by hand or can be battery or electrically operated for higher pressures being able to take on larger joints. These tools can also be used in hydraulic pipe connections or in air pressure pipes and other applications. They can be used with different dies for the different sizes needed to make each tool more versatile. In electrical applications, a connector can be connected to a cable quickly. The smaller sizes can be used to attach wires to connectors or other wires or cables. With the correct die, the crimping tools can be used to cut through a cable or wire. Lugs can also be attached to cables by this crimping method.
